The Client was a leading commercial bank offering Conventional banking products for all the segments of Customers (Retail and Corporate). And hence the customer went ahead with the implantation of SIBS digital banking platform
Challenges:
- Business Rules Vs System Workflows: Identification of Customer Touch Points and devices/interfaces in the entire life cycle of customer experience
- Complex Business Requirements: Multiple Workflows driven from sales officer, Credit Evaluators, Contact Point Verification Agents and Central Processing Cell with make/checker processing
- Effort Duplication: Multiple OSs, Devices and access points reflecting in the duplication of test effort
- Configuration Challenges: Scalability of the Application under test with vast set-ups required with respect to multiple channels and interfaces
The Solution:
- Requirement Analysis & Design: Hybrid Business Assurance processes was designed where requirement workshops organised with a two-way interaction model to eliminate ambiguities and address the incomplete requirements
- Test Design: Use case approach along with orthogonal array approach to ensure the comprehensive test coverage
- Test Execution: Data driven test approach covering synthetic as well as converted data
- Process Improvements: Specifically designed regression suites which were executed in a regular frequency to ensure the system being not regressed
